At Fragrance Source, we are committed to providing high-quality, authentic fragrances. However, we understand that buying fragrances online can be challenging, and sometimes a scent may not meet your expectations. Our return policy is designed to be fair and transparent while ensuring product integrity.
Order Cancellations
- Cancellation Before Shipment: Orders can be canceled if they have not yet been shipped.
- Cancellation Process:
1. Contact our customer service team immediately at contact@fragrancesource.ca with your order number.
2. If your order has not yet been processed for shipping, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
3. If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be processed as a return.
Returns & Refunds
We accept returns under the following conditions:
1. Defective, Incorrect, or Damaged Items (Our Error)
- Return Method: Returns are accepted by mail only.
- Return Process:
1. Email contact@fragrancesource.ca within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the product showing the issue.
2. Once we confirm the issue, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
3. Ship the item back in its original, unused, and sealed condition within 7 days of receiving the return label.
4. Contact our team regarding the shipment.
At Fragrance Source, we are fully aware of deceptive tactics used by individuals attempting to exploit return policies, including falsified claims, manipulated images, and fabricated stories. Any attempt to commit fraud will result in immediate rejection of the return request, permanent banning from our store, and escalation to the proper authorities, including the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC), the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Fraud Unit, local law enforcement agencies, and shipping carriers. We maintain detailed transaction records, shipping logs, and digital forensics to dispute fraudulent claims with irrefutable evidence. Any attempt to commit fraud will be met with strict legal consequences.
- Cost of Return Shipping: We cover return shipping costs only for defective, incorrect, or damaged items.
- Restocking Fee: No restocking fee applies for defective, incorrect, or damaged items.
- Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Shipping Cost Refund: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
2. Disappointed with the Scent? (Lightly Tested Fragrances)
- Eligible Products:
- Full-size bottles that have been lightly tested (a few sprays).
- Must be at least 95% full and in original packaging.
- Cannot be testers, gift sets, or clearance items.
- Return Process:
1. Contact contact@fragrancesource.ca within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a request for return.
2. We will provide return instructions and an authorization number.
3. Ship the item back within 7 days of receiving approval.
- Cost of Return Shipping: We provide a prepaid return shipping label, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, which will be deducted from the refund.
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund to accommodate return shipping, and internal processing costs.
- Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect the return.
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
- Shipping Cost Refund: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
3. Other Customer Remorse Returns (Wrong Item Ordered, Changed Mind)
- Return Eligibility:
- The product must be unopened, unused, and in its original, sealed packaging.
- Used or unsealed items (except for lightly tested fragrances) are NOT eligible for return.
- Return Process:
1. Contact contact@fragrancesource.ca within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will provide return instructions and a return authorization number.
3. You must ship the item back within 7 days of receiving return approval.
- Cost of Return Shipping: We provide a prepaid return shipping label, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, which will be deducted from the refund.

Fraud Prevention policy Abuse
We take fraud prevention seriously and are fully aware of deceptive and fraudulent methods that some customers attempt to use to exploit return policies. If clear and authentic photos, along with irrefutable proof, are not submitted, we reserve the right to:
- Reject the return request.
- Ban the customer from making future purchases on our store.
- Report the customer to relevant authorities, including:
- **Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre** (CAFC)
- **Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Fraud Unit**
- **Local law enforcement agencies**
- **Shipping carriers involved in the suspected fraudulent claim**
Any attempts to return counterfeit, used, or deliberately tampered products will be met with strict legal consequences.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned under any circumstances:
✅ Tester bottles (marked as such in product listings).
✅ Gift sets with broken packaging.
✅ Clearance items.
✅ Any item not purchased directly from Fragrance Source.
Additional Notes
- Rejected Returns: If you return an item outside the return window, or if the item does not meet our return eligibility criteria, the return will be rejected. You may choose to have the item shipped back to you at your own expense.
- Chargebacks & Fraud Prevention: Any fraudulent chargeback claims will be disputed with detailed evidence.
- Policy Updates: Fragrance Source reserves the right to update this policy at any time.

We are not an authorized retailer of the brands we carry; however, we take product authenticity very seriously. Every fragrance we sell is sourced exclusively from reputable suppliers who are directly linked to the brands and authorized distributors.
Our sourcing standards include:
